Programme Tracks
Four Competitions
Students choose one track, develop their work through Design Thinking workshops in Japan and Thailand, and present to an international jury at the Grand Exhibition.
International Short Film Contest
Cinematography · Storytelling · Cultural Narrative
The iSFC invites participants to produce a short film — live-action or animation — that explores this year's theme through a cross-cultural lens. Works are assessed by an international committee from both RMUTT and HIU. Finalists present at the Grand Exhibition and engage in cultural exchange with students from Hokkaido.
International Web Design Contest
UI/UX Design · Front-End Engineering · Interactive Web
The iWDC challenges participants to design and build a fully functional, English-language website based on the programme theme. Designs are evaluated for visual quality, user experience, and technical implementation. All code must be hand-written — website builders are not permitted. AI tools may be used with full documentation of the process.
International Computer Programming Contest
Application Development · AI Integration · Problem Solving
The iCPC challenges participants to design and build a prototype application — web-based or standalone software — with mandatory AI integration. The programme emphasises intelligent, user-friendly functionality that addresses the year's theme. Works are assessed across five equally-weighted criteria by a joint RMUTT–HIU committee.
International Business Domain Program
Business Model · Strategic Innovation · Sustainability
The iBDP is a business simulation competition where participants develop and present a Business Model Canvas that applies AI to address challenges related to the programme's annual theme. The competition cultivates analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex ideas in English to an international audience.
